Nicole Elizabeth Eggert (born January 13, 1972 in Glendale , California ) is an American actress .
biography
Nicole Eggert was a well-known American child actress . Encouraged by her mother, she took part in beauty contests at an early age and won a. a. the Miss Universe Petite Division competition at the age of five . An agent got her a commercial in which Eggert advertised baby shampoo . In 1981, at the age of eight, Eggert starred in the film Rich and Famous alongside established actresses such as Jacqueline Bisset and Candice Bergen . Eggert had numerous appearances on US television in the following years , including in Aaron Spelling's television series TJ Hooker with William Shatner and Heather Locklear . Her breakthrough on television was the role of Jamie Powell in the comedy series Charles in Charge, with Scott Baio in the title role.
In 1992 she became known to a worldwide audience for her role as lifeguard Summer Quinn in the hit television series Baywatch . However, there were numerous differences of opinion between Eggert and producer David Hasselhoff on the film set , which led to her being expelled. Eggert could not identify with the Baywatch look, but, like her Baywatch colleague Pamela Anderson, had her breasts surgically enlarged with implants in 1993, only to have them reduced again six months later. When she was kicked out, she said the show had too many butts and too many breasts. Nevertheless, Eggert was seen again as Summer Quinn in the 2003 television film Baywatch - Wedding in Hawaii .
Prior to her wedding to Justin Herwick in 2000, she was briefly engaged to fellow actor Corey Haim . She has two daughters.
