Nijmegen-Nieuw-West is a municipality in Nijmegen in the Dutch province of Gelderland , where around 16,790 people live in an area of ​​6.41 square kilometers .

The district is located in the west of the municipality of Nijmegen and borders on the neighboring municipality of Beuningen . Weurt , a village that belongs to Beuningen, is separated from Nijmegen-Nieuw-West by the Maas-Waal Canal and, like the Lindenholt district, can be reached via the Neerbosschebrug and the Sluiscomplex Weurt .
