Nikola Hoeltz

Nikola Hoeltz (born August 27, 1934 ) is a German costume designer .

Live and act

Nikola Hoeltz received her theoretical training at the Academy of Fine Arts (department of costume design) and her practical training at the Residenztheater in Munich , where she initially received an assistant. In addition, she studied German, history and sociology at the University of Munich . She completed her courses with the state examination.

Since 1959 she has been an independent costume designer, and that year she made her film debut in Kurt Hoffmann's drama student drama Stage Fright . Hoffmann also brought her for his follow-up productions Love wants to be learned , Liselotte from the Palatinate and finally Glorious Times in the Spessart . In the period that followed, Hoeltz worked with a host of other top directors, including Oliver Storz , Edgar Reitz , Michael Verhoeven , Jerzy Skolimowski , Egon Günther , Wolfgang Petersen and again and again Dieter Wedel . Hoeltz also made the costumes for Wedel's staging of the Nibelungs at the Worms Festival in 2002 . She is a member of the Association of Professional Groups Production Design and Costume Design e. V.
