Nils Schulz

Nils Schulz , also Nils A. Schulz, (* 1976 in Wilhelmshaven ) is a German actor .

Life

Schulz comes from Northern Germany . At the age of four, he moved to Switzerland with his family . He lived near Basel for over ten years and grew up there.

Initially, he was hired from 2006 as an advertising actor for various print products. He then took private acting lessons from 2008 to 2009. He also attended various acting workshops and seminars on role design and cinematic work.

His career as a film actor began with participation in advertising films (for the Robert Koch Institute , the Federal Ministry of the Interior , IKEA , Persil , NIVEA for Men , Sony PlayStation , Coppenrath & Wiese , Aktion Mensch, etc.), in music videos and in numerous short films . Since 2009 he has been working as an actor for film and television, since 2012 mainly for television.

He had one of his first television roles in Police Call 110: Another World (2012). He was seen in the small role of the workshop mechanic Rolf, who Horst Krause repairs his motorcycle. In the RTL television film Mantrailer - traces of crime (2013) he had a supporting role at the side of Armin Rohde ; he played the policeman Roland Stammer. In the short film Visit in the Forest (2013) he played the male lead; his partner was Katharina Thalbach . In 2014, the film won the audience award at the Max Ophüls Prize ; he received the award for the best "medium-length film". In the television film Der Freitagmann from the ZDF crime series Ein starkes Team (first broadcast April 2014) he played a supporting role; he embodied Christian König, the unemployed, suspect husband of the raped saleswoman Stefanie König ( Luise Berndt ).

Schulz also had episode roles in television series, u. a. in alarm for Cobra 11 - Die Autobahnpolizei (2010 and 2013) and Weissensee (2015).

In October 2015 he was seen in a leading role in the ZDF crime series SOKO Leipzig . He played the former prisoner and suspect Torsten Wenzel, a friend of the murder victim. Schulz played a leading role in the TV series SOKO Potsdam , which was first broadcast on ZDF in September 2018 ; he played the lawyer Gerhard Sellbeck, who, together with his wife, uses the services of a reproductive medicine doctor , and who ultimately becomes a murderer. In December 2018, Schulz was seen in the ZDF television series Notruf Hafenkante in an episode role as a homophobic football coach. In the 10th season of the German-Austrian TV series Die Bergretter (2018), Schulz, alongside Catherine Bode , had one of the main roles in the episode as the owner of a company for outdoor clothing , whose little daughter was kidnapped.

Schulz has lived in Berlin since the beginning of 2000 .
