Nina Grunenberg

Nina Grunenberg (born October 7, 1936 in Dresden ; † December 28, 2017 ) was a German journalist and book author.

Live and act

Since 1969 Grunenberg was part of the editorial team of the weekly newspaper Die Zeit . From 1992 to 1994 she headed the knowledge department , and from 1987 to 1995 she was deputy editor-in-chief of the paper. She was considered an expert on education and university issues. Grunenberg was married to the astrophysicist and science manager Reimar Lüst . From 2000 to 2009 she was a member of the Science Council , but later also worked as an expert. She had been a member of the PEN Center Germany since 1972 .
