The Nonstop Triathlon (currently called IfA Nonstop Triathlon Bamberg ) is a triathlon event in the Bamberg area in Upper Franconia over the Olympic distance and the sprint distance.

organization

It has been held annually since 1990 at the end of June or on the first weekend in July in Bamberg or in a municipality in the Bamberg district. The triathlon event is organized by the Bavarian Triathlon Association and by IfA Nonstop Bamberg e. V. organized.

The Franconian Switzerland is crossed in the northern part of the bike in the Olympic distance, so the route profile is one of this distance to the most sophisticated in Germany. The sporting supporting program also includes a children's run (0.5 km running) and the Cross Bike & Run (4.5 km cycling and 1.5 km running). On July 2, 2011, the 22nd non-stop triathlon was held in Baunach , during which the Upper Franconian Championship over the Olympic distance was announced.

In 2018 the race was held again after a one-year break, the event was relocated to Erba Island and the swimming took place in the Regnitz .
