Norbert Joa

Norbert Joa (* 1961 in Würzburg ) is a German journalist .

Career

Joa is a graduate of the German School of Journalism , studied modern history, politics and communication science and also worked for Main-Post . He came to Bayerischer Rundfunk via the Hamburger Abendblatt and the Süddeutscher Rundfunk .

There he was a reporter for the Münchner Mittagsmagazin on Bayern 2 for eight years , then a feature author for the audio image department. He also worked for the Bayern 3 and B5 current programs .

Norbert Joa is currently moderating the talk show one to one on Bayern 2 on Tuesdays and is a reporter in the section Mittendrin - Joa. for the weekly magazine Orange on the go on Saturday . He can also be heard regularly in the End of the World column , with which the information program Radiowelt closes at 8:25 a.m. on weekdays.

In recent years he has also written for the Süddeutsche Zeitung , Deutschlandradio Kultur and Die Zeit . He is a lecturer at the German School of Journalism, the Bavarian State Center for New Media and teaches volunteers for Bavarian Broadcasting.

Awards

In 2000, Norbert Joa won the Civis Media Prize in the information category with his hour feature “Im Feindesland” . In the Berlin area he portrayed neo-Nazis, their opponents and indifferent citizens. In 2012 he was one of the three nominees for the German Radio Prize in the “Interview” category - for his conversation with the former RAF terrorist and actor Christof Wackernagel .

Private

Norbert Joa is married, has a father of four and lives in Munich.
