Norman Reinhardt (born in Hickory , North Carolina ) is an American opera singer ( tenor ).

Life

Norman studied at Asbury College and the University of Kentucky , where he graduated with a Bachelor of Music .

He was inducted into the Houston Grand Opera Studio and quickly found the opportunity to appear in leading roles at that opera house. He sang lyrical and bel canto parts there, such as Arbace in Mozart's Idomeneo , Ernesto in Donizetti's Don Pasquale and Lucano in Monteverdi's L'incoronazione di Poppea . Reinhardt was recognized for his clear timbre and strong stage presence, he is very popular with the Texan audience and returns regularly to the Houston Grand Opera , including as Lysander in Britten's A Midsummer Night's Dream or as Bénédicte in Berlioz ' Béatrice et Bénédict .
