Emergency managers at Deutsche Bahn are employees of Deutsche Bahn AG who act as operational commanders in the event of dangerous incidents and other emergencies. The route network of DB Netz AG is divided into 180 emergency districts in order to ensure that an emergency manager can be available as a specialist advisor for the operations manager after 30 minutes at the latest. The emergency manager has an emergency vehicle that is marked as DB AG emergency management and is equipped with a special signaling system. At the scene of the incident, the emergency manager wears orange high-visibility clothing (weatherproof jacket or high-visibility vest) with the "Emergency manager" imprint on the back and a white hard hat. Operations management at other transport companies
