Nowy Klukom ( German Neu Klücken , also Neuklücken ) is a village in the rural municipality of Krzęcin ( Kranzin ) in the Choszozno ( Arnswalde ) district in the Polish West Pomeranian Voivodeship .
Geographical location
The village is located in the Neumark , about two kilometers north of the village Krzęcin ( Kranzin ), ten kilometers southeast of Choszozno ( Arnswalde ) and seventy kilometers southeast of Stettin .
history
Neu Klücken was originally a manor . In 1393 heirs of the Rowedel family sat in curia Klukim ; an older place name is Nova curia Kluken . In 1460 the Blankensee family owned the estate. Hans von Blankensee the Younger was named as the owner in 1488.
The very small village had a school early on, which the school owner ran. Since the beginning of the 18th century, school fees have not been charged to the village's students because a Rittmeister von Blankensee had donated capital of seven hundred Reichstalers , the interest of which was paid to the school owner, who had to teach the students free of charge. Around 1871 the Neu Klücken estate belonged to the large landowner Julius Jonath.
In 1930 there were 18 residential buildings in the small village with a total of 36 households.
1945 belonged New Klücken for county Arnswalde in the administrative district of Posen-West Prussia of the German Reich .
Towards the end of World War II , Neu Klücken was occupied by the Red Army in the spring of 1945 . Shortly thereafter, the place, like most of the Neumark, was placed under Polish administration. In the months that followed, the villagers were evicted . Neu Klücken was renamed Nowy Klukom .
