The Gmina Krzęcin (German: Municipality Kranzin ) is a rural municipality in the Polish powiat Choszczeński . The seat is the eponymous Krzęcin . The municipality covers an area of 140.27 km², which corresponds to 10.6% of the total area of the powiat. The municipality has 3,766 inhabitants, 744 of whom live in Krzęcin.
The Gmina Krzęcin belongs to the powiat Choszczeński ( Arnswalde district ) in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship and was part of the Gorzów Voivodeship from 1975 to 1998 . The south of the municipality borders the Powiat Strzelecko-Drezdenecki ( Friedeberg-Driesen district ) in the Lubusz Voivodeship .

Voivodship road 160 , which connects Suchań ( Zachan ) and Dobiegniew ( Woldenberg ), runs through the northeastern edge of the municipality . The community itself is accessed by two side streets, which connect Stare Klukom ( Alt Klücken ) and Chłopowo ( Schwachenwalde ) on the one hand and Zieliewo ( Sellnow ) and Pełczyce ( Bernstein ) on the other hand and intersect in Krzęcin.
rails
Since 1847 there has been a railway line between Stargard ( Stargard in Pomerania ) and Dobiegniew ( Woldenberg ), which has now been expanded to become the state railway line 351 Stettin - Posen . The only railway station of Gmina Krzęcin, namely Słonice ( Kleeberg ), is on this route .
