Ntfonjeni is an Inkhundla (administrative unit) in the north of the Hhohho region in Swaziland , on the northern border with South Africa . The Inkhundla is 272 km² and according to the 2007 census it had 21,142 inhabitants.

geography

The Inkhundla is located in the north of the Hhohho region south of the Mlumati (Lomati) river. The main artery in the district is MR 1 , which runs from Piggs Peak to Timpisini in the north. The Makhonjwa Nature Reserve extends to the northwest, towards the border with South Africa .

The district is divided into the Imiphakatsi (chief districts) Emvembili, Evusweni, KaHhelehhele, KaHhohho, KaLomshiyo, KaNdwandwe and Mshingishingini.
