Zombodze is an Inkhundla (administrative unit) in the south of the Shiselweni region in Eswatini (until 2018 Swaziland), on the border with South Africa . It is 211 km² and according to the 2007 census it had 16,067 inhabitants.

geography

The Inkhundla is located in the south of the Shiselweni region on the border with South Africa . The Mzinsangu River drains south to the Spekboomriver , across to South Africa. Intensive agriculture is practiced. The main artery is the MR 11 , which runs north of the Inkhundla.

structure

The Injhundla is divided into the Imiphakatsi (chief districts) Bulekeni, Mampondweni, Ngwenyameni and Zombodze.

Zombodze - Imiphakatsi and settlement

Main place and Imiphakatsi were from Mswati III. Declared royal land, as many members of the royal family live in the place and many members of the royal family are buried on the hill that serves as a cemetery.
