Timphisini (also: Timpisini ) is an Inkhundla (administrative unit) in the north of the Hhohho region in Swaziland , on the northern border with South Africa . The Inkhundla is 87 km² and according to the 2007 census it had 8471 inhabitants.

geography

Inkhundla is located in the north of the Hhohho region in the headwaters of the Mlumati river (Lomati) with the Dubekeni tributary . Together with Mlilambi and Insolambi and others, this is dammed shortly after the border in South Africa at Driekoppies Dam to Lake Matsamo . The main artery in the district is MR 1 , which crosses into South Africa at Jeppe's Reef .

The Inkhundla is divided into the Imiphakatsi (chief districts) Hhohho, Ludzibiki, Mashobeni North and Mvembili.
