Mhlume is a Inkhundla (administrative unit) in the region Lubombo in Swasiland . It is 778 km² and according to the 2007 census it had 16,981 inhabitants.

geography

Inkhundla is located in the north of the Lubombo region on the border with South Africa . The MR 24 is the region's main artery and the Lutala River is the main waterway. In the Inkhundla are among other things the places Mhlume and Simunye .

structure

The district is divided into the Imiphakatsi (chief districts) Mhlume, Simunye, Tabankulu, Tshaneni and Vuvulane.
