Lubuli is the southeastern Inkhundla (administrative unit) in the region Lubombo in Swasiland . It is 477 km² and had 14,419 inhabitants according to the 2007 census.

geography

The Inkhundla is located in the south of the Lubombo region and borders on South Africa . The Ngwavuma runs through the plain in large loops and provides water for intensive irrigation farming. Extensive protected areas ( Nisela Nature Reserve ) extend to the east . The MR 14 is the main artery of the region. At Nsoko it joins the MR 8 , which runs from north to south along the border with South Africa. In the plain, the Lubuli Hill ( ) forms one of the highest points with a height of 316  m .

structure

The district is divided into the Imiphakatsi (chief districts) Cantebury, Ka-Vuma, Mambantaneni and Nthuthwakazi.

Lubuli

The main town lies on a loop of the Ngwavuma. There is a center of irrigation agriculture.
