Siphofaneni is a Inkhundla (administrative unit) in the region Lubombo in Swasiland . It is 477 km² and according to the 2007 census it had 23,488 inhabitants.

geography

The Inkhundla is located in the south of the Lubombo region. The Mzimneni runs through the plain with large loops. The main town Siphofaneni is located on the river. Main traffic arteries are the MR 14 , which starts in Siphofaneni and runs to the southwest, and the MR 8 , which runs through the region from north to southeast. There is also a railway line to the east of Inkhundla. Further to the east is the Mkhaya Game Reserve and to the south the Lubovane Dam .

The district is divided into the Imiphakatsi (chief districts) Kamkhweli, Madlenya, Madlenya, Mphumakudze, Nceka, Ngevini, Othandweni / Maphilingo and Tambuti.
