Odette Annable (* 10. May 1985 as Odette Juliette Yustman in Los Angeles , California ) is an American actress .

Life

Odette Annable's mother is from Cuba and her father is of Italian and French descent. She is fluent in Spanish and lives in Atlanta , Georgia .

Annable had her first minor role as a five-year-old in Kindergarten Cop . She later starred in various television series such as South Beach , October Road and Monk . In 2007 she appeared in the films Transformers and Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story . In 2008 she played one of the leading roles in the film Cloverfield . In the eighth and final season of the hospital series Dr. House she starred as Dr. Jessica Adams. Since 2017 she has played a leading role in the superhero series Supergirl .

She has been married to actor Dave Annable since October 10, 2010 .
