Oflenda is a part of the municipality of Mrákotín in the Czech Republic . It is located five kilometers southwest of Skuteč and belongs to the Okres Chrudim .

geography

Oflenda is located on the right side of the Mrákotínský creek in the northern foothills of the Saar Mountains . To the south rise the Medkovy Kopce (638 m nm) and the Čertovina (652 m nm).

Neighboring towns are Mrákotín to the north, Malinné, Žďárec u Skutče and Radčice in the Northeast, Oldřetice and Spálená Sazka in the east, Pokřikov and Raná in the southeast, Medkovy Kopce in the south, Horní Holetín in the southwest, Dolní Holetín in the west and Střítež, Hůrka, Tisovec and Dřeveš in the northwest.

history

The first written mention of the village belonging to Richenburg took place in 1473.

In 1835 the rustic village of Oflenda, located in the Chrudim district , consisted of 11 houses in which 57 people lived. The village was under the court of Mrakotin. The parish office was Ranna . Until the middle of the 19th century, Oflenda remained subject to Richenburg .

After the abolition of patrimonial Oflenda formed from 1849 a district of the municipality Mrákotín in the judicial district of Skuch . From 1868 the village belonged to the political district Hohenmauth . In 1869 Oflenda had 59 inhabitants. In 1900 there were still 59 people living in the village, in 1910 there were 72. In 1930 Oflenda had 60 inhabitants. In 1949 the village was assigned to the newly formed Okres Hlinsko, and since 1961 it has belonged to Okres Chrudim. On January 1, 1976 it was incorporated into Prosetín . Since January 1st, 1995 Oflenda belongs to the municipality of Mrákotín again. In the 2001 census, there were 40 people in Oflenda's 13 houses.
