Olexander Wolodymyrowytsch Torjanyk ( Ukrainian Олександр Володимирович Торяник , Russian Александр Владимирович Торяник / Alexander Vladimirovich Torjanik * 5. January 1990 in Kharkiv , Ukrainian SSR ) is a Ukrainian hockey player , who again in December 2017 Torpedo Ust-Kamenogorsk in the Supreme Hockey League .

Career

Club

As a child, Olexander Torjanyk first played in his hometown near Druzhba-78 Kharkiv. At the age of 15 he moved to HK Gubkin in the fourth Russian league, where he played for a year. He then moved to HK Belgorod , for which he was on the ice until 2010 in the third division and partly in the second division of Russia. In the following season he played for Tschaika Nizhny Novgorod, the junior team of the KHL club Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod , who selected him as the ninth player in the first round of the KHL Junior Draft 2010 , in the Molodjoschnaja Chokkeinaja League . From there he went to HK Sarow , who also cooperates with Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod, in the Wysschaja Hockey League , but also played occasionally for the Chaika team. In 2012 Torjanyk returned to Ukraine and played for HK Berkut in the Professional Hockey League , the top division of his home country. At the beginning of the 2013 season he first returned to HK Sarov, and then played in quick succession for HK Donbass Donetsk , again committed to HK Sarow, HK Saryarka Karaganda , Disel Pensa and Torpedo Ust-Kamenogorsk . In August 2016 he moved to Yuzhny Ural Orsk , which, like his previous clubs (except HK Donbass Donetsk, which played in the KHL at the time) belonged to the Vysschaja Hockey League. There his contract was terminated after three months. He then played at short notice for the clubs Ariada Wolschsk , Molot-Prikamje Perm and again Torpedo Ust-Kamenogorsk, which were also in the Wysschaja Hockey League .

International

For the Ukraine Michnow took part for the first time in the Division I Ice Hockey World Championship for men in 2012 , but could not avoid relegation from the A to the B group with his team. In the following year he was involved with three goals and four assists in the immediate return of the Ukrainians to the A group of Division I, where he then played in 2014 . In February 2013 , he was also on the ice for the Ukrainian team in the Olympic qualification for the 2014 Games in Sochi , in which the Ukrainians failed in the tournament in the second qualifying round.
