Giovanni Augusto Oliveira Cardoso , called Giovanni Augusto , (born September 5, 1989 in Belém , Pará ) is a Brazilian football player . The right foot is used in attacking midfield.
Career
Giovanni Augusto started his career in the youth team of Atlético Mineiro . At this club he played his first game as a professional on March 18, 2010. In the Copa do Brasil against the Chapecoense he was substituted on in the 76th minute. It was followed by another use against América Mineiro in the state championship of Minas Gerais on April 4th. But he could not make up his mind, so that from the summer of 2010 he was loaned to other clubs most of the time. Although he then played 40 games in various competitions for Atlético in the 2015 season , Giovanni Augusto moved to Corinthians São Paulo in the spring of 2016 . With the club, the player was able to win the national championship in 2017.
In February 2018 Giovanni Augusto was loaned to the CR Vasco da Gama in Rio de Janeiro until the end of the year . After he did not play a role in Corinthians' squad planning in 2019, he was loaned to the Goiás EC in March 2019 . The loan was limited to the end of the year.
