Oliver Brod

Oliver Brod (* 1971 in Hagen ) is a German actor , speaker as well as author and director of radio plays .

biography

After graduating from high school, Oliver Brod first studied theater, film and television studies as well as history and psychology. He then completed an acting course at the Folkwang University in Essen. Theater engagements followed. a. to the Westfälische Kammerspiele Paderborn and the Grenzlandtheater Aachen , he has also made guest appearances at various theaters in Bochum, Hamburg, Düsseldorf and Berlin.

Oliver Brod works as a film and television actor as well as a speaker in radio plays, radio features, documentaries and reports for various ARD broadcasters. Since 2006 he has been reading audio books for various audio book publishers .

As part of the Berlin group of authors and radio play producers, Weltbetrieb , he also writes and directs original radio plays for ARD.

He works as a lecturer for speaking and presence at the Academy of the Ministry of the Interior in North Rhine-Westphalia and in training for journalists and microphone coaching at the DAA Media Academy in Berlin.

  • Oliver Brod received the Karl Heinz Walther Prize of the Grenzlandtheater Aachen for his roles as Templar in "Nathan the Wise" (Gotthold Ephraim Lessing) and Wayne in "Popcorn" (Ben Elton) in the 2000/2001 season .
