Oliver Krammer (born August 16, 1966 in Scheibbs ) is an Austrian drummer , musician and sound engineer .

Live and act

After graduating from the natural science secondary school in Wieselburg in 1984 , Oliver Krammer studied jazz percussion at the Vienna Conservatory with Walter Grassmann. Further stages of his training are the degree in instrumental education / jazz drums with Fritz Ozmec in 1995, the study of classical percussion instruments with Kurt Prihoda in 1998 and the course in drums in popular music with Fritz Ozmec in 1996, each at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna . He completed other seminars and workshops with Louie Bellson , Jojo Mayer , Billy Cobham , Steve Smith , Kenny Washington and Rick Latham, among others . In 2004 he founded the jazz formation "Saxophone Affairs" together with his wife Daniela Krammer . In addition to Krammer, Roland Guggenbichler (piano), Heribert Kohlich (piano), Hans Zinkl (guitar), Karl Sayer (double bass), Bernhard Osanna (double bass and electric bass), Andreas Tieber (electric bass) and Oliver Krammer (drums ) in this jazz formation.

In his work as a drummer (live and in the studio) he played with the Big Band of the Vienna Conservatory, WHS-Big Band, Zipflo Weinrich , Wiener Wunder , Etta Scollo , Hans Zinkl, Harry Bonanza Country Band, Andrea Händler , Gruber- Ruesz Quartet, On Cue, Stella Jones , Plan B , Herwig Gradischnig , Roland Guggenbichler, Hotel Palindrone, Peter Weibel's Hotel Morphelia Orchester, Jango Edwards , James Moore , Headless Nation, Mike Langley, Marcus Zahnhausen, Albert Reifert Trio, Thomas Koran, Meatballs , Two of a Kind, Bluescrew, Hardbop Café, Patrick McMullen, Albert Mair , Joey Green, The City Slickers and Raymond Walker.

Krammer completed his training as a sound engineer at the School of Audio Engineering in Vienna and runs his own project recording studio. He took on the musical support for various film and TV productions, such as Tohuwabohu by Helmut Zenker , The Better Wins (with Wolfgang Ambros ) and Stille Wasser (with Sandra Cervik ).

Oliver Krammer has two sons and lives in Vienna-Hietzing.
