Men's tennis singles at the 1900 Summer Olympics .

The final was played by Brit Laurence Doherty and Irish Harold Mahony , which Doherty clearly won 6: 4, 6: 2, 6: 3. In the semifinals, Doherty would normally have played against his brother Reginald before, but he refused to play against his brother and waived. There was no match for the bronze medal. A total of 13 players from three nations took part in the individual competition, which took place from July 6th to 11th.
