The 50-kilometer men's cross-country skiing race at the 1928 Winter Olympics took place on February 14, 1928. The gold medal went to Per-Erik Hedlund from Sweden with a lead of over 13 minutes over his compatriot Gustaf Jonsson . The bronze medal also went to a Swede, Volger Andersson .
