The Switzerland took part in the IV. Olympic Winter Games in 1936 in Garmisch-Partenkirchen with a delegation of 34 athletes participate. They competed in 7 sports and were able to win one gold and two silver medals. Switzerland thus achieved 5th place in the medal table.
