United States
The United States took part in the IV Winter Olympics in Garmisch-Partenkirchen in 1936 with a delegation of 55 athletes, including 46 men and 9 women. With the bobsleigh driver Hubert Stevens , an Olympic champion from 1932 was on the list, but he was fourth without a medal. The two ice hockey players John Garrison and Gordon Smith won bronze after silver in 1932.
