Iceland took part in the 1992 Winter Olympics in Albertville, France, with a delegation of five athletes in two disciplines, including four men and one woman. None of the athletes managed to win a medal.

The flag bearer at the opening ceremony was the ski racer Ásta Halldórsdóttir .
