Operação Outono (German: Operation Herbst ) is a political thriller by the Portuguese director Bruno de Almeida from 2012. The film describes the background to the operation of the state police PIDE , which led to the murder of the opposition General Humberto Delgado . It premiered on November 18, 2012 as part of the Lisbon & Estoril Film Festival at the Cinema São Jorge in Lisbon and was released on November 22, 2012 in Portugal.

The plot of the film spans from 1964 to 1981. It depicts the preparations of the PIDE for the murder of Delgado in February 1965 and ends with the judicial review after the Carnation Revolution and the condemnation of the agents.
