Oscar Hoppe (born April 10, 1996 in Dresden ) is a German actor .

Life

Oscar Hoppe is the grandson of the actor Rolf Hoppe . He was already on the theater stage as a child and adolescent. a. at the Dresden State Operetta and 2011 at the Dresden Zwinger Festival as Prince Elector Friedrich August II. in the production of The King's Mistress, directed by Dieter Wedel .

After graduating from high school, Hoppe first completed a six-week internship in Ireland at the international film production company Die Pfeiler der Macht (director: Christian Schwochow ) and then worked on various Schwochow film projects as an assistant director and actor. In 2015/2016 he was assistant director at Club Europa , the debut film by director Franziska M. Hoenisch ( Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg ), which was made in coproduction with the ZDF series “ Das kleine Fernsehspiel ”. He has been a member of the Dresden Court Theater ensemble since 2016 .

From September 2016, Oscar Hoppe studied acting at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin . During his studies he performed a. a. at the BAT Studio Theater and at the Berliner Ensemble as Kreon in Die Antigone des Sophokles . He completed his studies there in spring 2020.

Hoppe has been a member of the ensemble at the Mecklenburg State Theater in Schwerin since the 2020/21 season .

At the same time as his studies, Hoppe was already in front of the camera for several TV productions. In the television series Bad Banks (2018), Oscar Hoppe had a supporting role in several episodes as a student Emil and one-night stand of the investment banker Thao ( Mai Duong Kieu ). This was followed in 2019, alongside Dennis Kamitz, in a supporting role as suspect, rioting teenager Mitch in the ZDF series SOKO Leipzig . In the 16th season of the ZDF series SOKO Wismar (2020) he took on one of the main roles of the episode as haulage driver Thilo Nielsen, who is trying to rebuild his father's beekeeping together with his sister . In the ZDF series Bloody Beginners (2020) he had a leading role in the episode as the projectionist Sören Gombrich, who comes under suspicion.

In 2019 he won 2nd place in the " Chanson " category at the 48th National Singing Competition in Berlin.

Hoppe lives in Berlin .
