Oskar Ketelhut

Oskar Ketelhut (born June 23, 1963 in Mannheim ) is a German actor and radio play speaker .

life and work

After attending school and studying, Oskar Ketelhut completed his acting training from 1987 to 1991 at the stage studio in Hamburg. He then worked as a freelance actor and made guest appearances at the Ernst-Deutsch-Theater , the Hamburger Kammerspiele , the Hamburg State Opera and the Ohnsorg-Theater , of which he has been a member since 1997. Here he played the title role in Unkel Wanja after Anton Chekhov in the production of Michael Bogdanov , the killer in De Nervbüdel , the Low German stage adaptation of the film Die Filzlaus , and the big game hunter Bernhardy in Pension Schöller . For his portrayal of Fritz in the play Slagsiet , Ketelhut was awarded the Rolf Mares Prize in 2011 .

Since 1995, Ketelhut has also sporadically taken on tasks in front of the camera, making his debut in an episode of the Heimatgeschichten series . He was also occasionally seen on the screen in High German television recordings from the Ohnsorg Theater.

In addition, Oskar Ketelhut works extensively as a speaker in High and Low German radio plays on the North German Radio and Radio Bremen .

Oskar Ketelhut is married to colleague Meike Meiners , who is also a member of the ensemble at the Ohnsorg Theater. The couple lives in Hamburg.
