Otto Zöllner Schorr

Otto Zöllner Schorr (born November 21, 1909 in Hanau ; † December 1, 2007 in Quilpué ) was a German teacher, botanist and university professor in Chile. Its official botanical author's abbreviation is “ Zoellner ”, but it is also the abbreviation “ Zoelln. " in use.

Live and act

After studying biology and geography at the University of Leipzig , Zöllner went to Chile in 1933, where he was a teacher at the German School in Quilpué and its director from 1946 to 1962. He was a professor at the Universidad Catolica de Valparaiso .
