Pödelist is a district of Freyburg (Unstrut) in the Burgenland district in Saxony-Anhalt .

Pödelist is located between Halle (Saale) and Weimar .
The Dobichau district belonged to the former municipality of Pödelist.
history
The place belonged as a direct administrative village to the Saxon office of Freyburg until 1815 .
On July 1, 1950, the previously independent municipality of Dobichau was incorporated.
On July 1, 2009, the formerly independent municipality of Pödelist was incorporated into Freyburg (Unstrut). The last honorary mayor was Bodo Schimmler, who was first elected on June 12, 1994.
