LEDA / PGC 12788 (also NGC 1326B ) is a bar-spiral galaxy of the Hubble type SBd in the constellation Fornax in the southern sky . It is estimated to be 39 million light years from the Milky Way and about 45,000 light years across. Together with PGC 12783 , it forms an optical pair of galaxies. It is listed as a member of the Fornax galaxy cluster under catalog number FCC 39 . In the same area of ​​the sky are the galaxies NGC 1317 , NGC 1318 , NGC 1326 , NGC 1336 , among others .
