LEDA / PGC 40549 (also NGC 4373A ) is a lenticular galaxy with extensive star formation areas of the Hubble type S0 in the constellation Centaurus in the southern sky . It is estimated to be 126 million light years from the Milky Way and about 100,000 light years in diameter. The galaxy has a band of dust (a dust lane) on it.
