LEDA / PGC 43462 (also NGC 4728B ) is a spiral galaxy of the Hubble type Sbc in the constellation Coma Berenices in the northern sky . It is an estimated 549 million light years from the Milky Way and about 160,000 light years in diameter. Together with NGC 4728 , it forms the optical galaxy pair Holm 469 .
In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 4715 , NGC 4721 , NGC 4745 .
The object was discovered on March 3, 1867 by Heinrich Louis d'Arrest .
