NGC 4721 is a 14.5 mag bright lenticular galaxy of the Hubble type S0 in the constellation Haar der Berenike , which is about 343 million light years away from the Milky Way.
It was discovered by Heinrich Louis d'Arrest on April 24, 1865 .
