LEDA / PGC 5142 (also NGC 527B ) is a weakly illuminated spiral galaxy from the Hubble type S in the constellation Sculptor the southern sky . It is estimated to be 261 million light years from the Milky Way and about 45,000 light years across. Together with NGC 527 , it forms a gravitationally bound galaxy pair.
The galaxy trio NGC 526 / PGC 5120 / PGC 5135 is located about three arc minutes north .
