Paolo Rocco Gualtieri
Paolo Rocco Gualtieri (born February 1, 1961 in Supersano , Province of Lecce , Italy ) is a Roman Catholic Archbishop and Diplomat of the Holy See .
Life
Paolo Rocco Gualtieri received the sacrament of ordination for the diocese of Ugento-Santa Maria di Leuca on September 24, 1988 .
On 13 April 2015 it appointed Pope Francis to Titular Archbishop of Sagona and ordered him to the apostolic nuncio in Madagascar . He received his episcopal ordination on May 30th of the same year by Cardinal State Secretary Pietro Parolin ; Co- consecrators were Archbishop Paul Gallagher and Vito Angiuli , Bishop of Ugento-Santa Maria di Leuca .
Pope Francis appointed him on September 26, 2015 in addition to the Apostolic Nuncio to the Seychelles and on October 24 of the same year as Apostolic Nuncio to Mauritius . On November 13 of the same year he was also appointed Apostolic Delegate to the Comoros and entrusted with the duties of an Apostolic Delegate on Réunion .
