Paraparaumu is a town in the Kapiti Coast District of Wellington on the North Island of New Zealand .

geography

The city is located around 28 km north-northeast of Porirua and around 40 km southwest of Levin on the coast of the Kapiti Coast . Wellington , the largest city in the region, is around 46 km south-southwest.

Paraparaumu Beach , Raumati Beach and Raumati South are the places directly adjacent to the coast, Otaihanga is directly adjacent to the northeast and Waikanae and Waikanae Beach , both around 6 km away, are the adjacent places to the north and northeast. Paekakariki , as a neighboring town in a south-westerly direction, is about 10 km away.
