Pari Ravan
Pari Ravan (born March 8, 1942 in Iran ) is an Iranian- German - French painter .
biography
Pari Ravan was born in Iran on March 8, 1942, where she won her first art prize in a youth competition at the age of 14. She studied as a master student of Sadeghpoor at the University of Fine Arts in Tehran . At the age of 17 Pari Ravan moved to Germany. There she attended the arts and crafts school in Mainz . From 1975 to 1979 she was a student of Baruch Elron , the important Israeli painter of fantastic surrealism . Pari Ravan paints in oil, using the technique of the old masters . Her painting style is known as "romantic surrealism".
So far she has won numerous international art prizes (Iran, Germany, Italy , France, Japan , China ) and her works have been shown at various international exhibitions (Germany, USA , Switzerland , Luxembourg , Belgium , Italy, France, Austria , Japan, China). Her pictures, frescoes and sculptures can be found in museums and well-known art collections worldwide, as well as in private ownership.
The artist lives and works in the south of France.
