Pascal Chang-Soi SSCC (born October 18, 1966 in Moorea ) is a Roman Catholic clergyman and bishop of Taiohae o Tefenuaenata .

Life

Pascal Chang-Soi joined the congregation of the Arnstein Fathers on August 23, 1992, made his profession on November 9, 1997 and was ordained a priest on February 4, 2000 .

Pope Benedict XVI appointed him on August 4, 2010 Coadjutor Bishop of Taiohae o Tefenuaenata . He received his episcopal ordination from the Apostolic Nuncio in New Zealand , Fiji , Marshall Islands , Federated States of Micronesia , Vanuatu , Tonga , Kiribati , Palau , Cook Islands , Samoa and Nauru , Archbishop Charles Daniel Balvo , on December 4th of the same year; Co- consecrators were Hubert Coppenrath , Archbishop of Papeete , and Guy Chevalier SSCC, Bishop of Taiohae o Tefenuaenata. As a motto he chose Que ta volonté soit faite .

Pope Francis appointed him Apostolic Administrator of the Archdiocese of Papeete on March 22, 2013 . He was released from this office on August 28 by the appointment of a successor.

With the age-related resignation of Guy Chevalier on September 5, 2015, he succeeded him as Bishop of Taiohae o Tefenuaenata.
