Paszkówka is a village with a Schulzenamt of the Brzeźnica municipality in the Powiat Wadowicki of the Lesser Poland Voivodeship in Poland .
history
The older settlement within today's village was Pobiedr, now just a hamlet of Paszkówka. Pobiedr could have been founded by the knight Bodepor in the first half of the 13th century. It was first mentioned as the parish Bobedre in the Peterspfennigregister of the year 1325 in the deanery Zator of the diocese of Krakow , and then in 1335 Pobedr. Paszkówka was first mentioned in 1356 as Passcouicz [e] . For over two centuries Pobiedr and Paszkówka had common owners from the Radwanite family.
At that time the villages belonged to the so-called Radwanite Corridor . This belonged to Poland and connected the Duchy of Auschwitz , the feudal rule of the Kingdom of Bohemia , in the west with its exclave in the east.
In the middle of the 16th century, Paszkówka belonged to Jan Paszkowski and Witkowski, zealous Arians . The local church became Arian, and again Roman Catholic from 1610, when a crowd drove people of different faiths out of Przytkowice .
During the first partition of Poland , Paszkówka and Pobiedr became part of the new Kingdom of Galicia and Lodomeria of the Habsburg Empire in 1772 (from 1804).
In 1918 after the end of the First World War and the collapse of the Austro-Hungarian monarchy, Paszkówka became part of Poland again. This was only interrupted by the occupation of Poland by the Wehrmacht in World War II .
From 1975 to 1998 Paszkówka was part of the Bielsko-Biała Voivodeship .
