Patrick O'Donnell
Patrick O'Donnell (* unknown; † October 4, 1970 ) was an Irish politician from the Fine Gael .
biography
After attending school, he studied law and then worked as a solicitor after completing his studies .
On November 16, 1949 he was elected for the first time in a by -election for the Fine Gael to the deputy ( Teachta Dála ) of the lower house ( Dáil Éireann ) and belonged to this until his death. First he represented the constituency of Donegal West until 1961 , then Donegal South-West and finally from 1969 until his death the constituency of Donegal-Leitrim .
After the Fine Gael electoral victory, he was appointed Minister of Local Administration by Prime Minister ( Taoiseach ) John A. Costello on June 2, 1954 and was a member of the cabinet until the end of Costello's tenure on March 20, 1957.
