Michael Keyes

Michael Keyes (* 1886 ; † 1959 ) was an Irish politician.

Keyes belonged to the Dáil Éireann , the lower house of the Irish Parliament, in 1927 and again from 1933 to 1957 for the Irish Labor Party . During the 13th Dáil he was Minister of Local Administration. In the 15th Dáil he held the post of Minister for Post and Telegraphy. Keyes is also remembered as the Mayor of Limerick .
