Paul Moer
Paul Moer (actually Paul Moerschbacher , born July 22, 1916 in Meadville , Pennsylvania , † June 9, 2010 ) was an American modern jazz pianist .
At the beginning of his career Paul Moer played with Benny Carter and 1953 with Vido Musso , 1954 with Zoot Sims and Stan Getz , 1955 with Jerry Gray and Bill Holman . He then worked with Bob Gordon , Paul Horn , Jack Montrose and Shorty Rogers and other formations of West Coast jazz . He was a member of John Graas' West Coast All Star Ninets . In 1961 he had his own trio with whom he recorded an album live in San Francisco . In 1991 he played again with a trio and recorded the album Plays The Music of Elmo Hope .
