Paulo Victor Mileo Vidotti , called Paulo Victor , (born January 12, 1987 in Assis, São Paulo ) is a Brazilian football player . The goalkeeper is also an Italian citizen .

Career

He began his career in his hometown with CA Assisense and at 17 moved to the youth department of Flamengo Rio de Janeiro . In 2005, the player also made the leap into the professional squad. At first he had to be content as a reserve goalkeeper. He played his first league game on the last day of the 2010 season on December 5, in the away game against FC Santos . Paulo Victor made his first appearance at international club level in the 2011 Copa Sudamericana on October 26th against CF Universidad de Chile . His greatest achievement was winning the Brazilian Cup in 2013 . In 2014 he prevailed as a regular goalkeeper at Flamengo, but lost that place to Alex Muralha in the middle of the 2016 season .

In January 2017, Paulo Victor moved on loan to Gaziantepspor in Turkey. The loan was limited to mid-2018. The contract contains a purchase option at the end of the loan deal. A transfer fee was not paid, Gaziantepspor paid the full salary. Paulo Victor made his debut for Gaziantepspor in the Süper Lig on January 29, 2017 against Trabzonspor . He conceded four goals in that game. Paulo Victor returned to Brazil in July 2017. He received a new contract with Gremio Porto Alegre . With the club he won the Copa Libertadores in 2017 .
