Paustenbach is a small, western part of the municipality of Simmerath in the North Rhine-Westphalian city ​​region of Aachen between Simmerath-Mitte and the municipality of Lammersdorf .

history

Around 1560 Paustenbach belonged to the Simmerath parish. From 1816 Paustenbach belonged to the Monschau district and since January 1, 1972, due to the Aachen law, to the municipality of Simmerath in the former Aachen district , today's Aachen city region .
