The Pentax 645Z is a digital SLR in medium format . It was presented by Ricoh on April 15, 2014 .

It is the second generation of the digital 645 cameras from Pentax and differs from its predecessor, the Pentax 645D , among other things by significantly better noise behavior at high ISO values, the possibility of video recording and a swiveling display. In 2016 the camera was awarded the if design award together with the RICOH THETA .
