The Pentax K-50 is a compact digital SLR camera from the Japanese manufacturer Pentax , which was presented on June 12, 2013. It is resistant to splash water, dust and low temperatures (down to −10 degrees Celsius) and has an optical viewfinder with a penta prism and a 100% viewfinder field. The K-50 has a maximum exposure index of ISO 51200, a minimum shutter speed of 1/6000 s and a frame rate of maximum 6 / s. Among other things, reviewers praised it and its sister model, the K-500, for the price-performance ratio .
K-500
In contrast to the K-50, the Pentax K-500 is not weatherproof, has no electronic spirit level and no visual confirmation of successfully focused focal points in the viewfinder. It is only available in black and is considered a budget model.
